Dowling band graduate Chris Wodniak (DCHS ’13) who was the Dowling Catholic Vanguard drum major in the fall of 2012 was selected to be the drum major of the University of Southern California’s Trojan Marching Band. This is an amazing accomplishment and a proud moment for Dowling to be a part of this historic group.
The USC trojan band has a long history and the band has not missed a Trojan football game, at home or on the road, since 1987.
According to Wodniak’s mother, Ann, “Almost every televised game will show Chris marching up the 50 yd line to stab the field with his sword. Exciting.”
